Continuing education
ECM credits and professional development
ECM courses (Educazione Continua in Medicina, Italy’s continuing medical education scheme) are designed for every healthcare profession, offering a valuable opportunity to keep up to date and grow in your field. By attending, you can earn the ECM credits required by law (Legislative Decree 229 of 19/06/1999), contributing to your professional development and to maintaining the skills needed to offer quality care.
The courses are open to all healthcare professionals, such as Doctors, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, Midwives and Nurses, as well as to auxiliary healthcare roles such as MCB-qualified massage therapists and those still in training. To keep the teaching quality high, places on TCS Level 1 are limited to 12. At the request of small professional groups or hospital trusts, courses can be arranged in any Italian city, with ECM credits issued as formal recognition of the training.
